Today I will challenge you to imagine the hardest thing of all....
I want YOU To imagine being who you were born to be.
All week I have had you imagine wild images and scenarios that more than likely will never take place in your life...UNLESS , You wanna shave a Grizzly bear from the neck down. (Let us know how that works out )
And all of you had no problems closing your eyes or seeing in your minds eye what I ask you to see.
as wild as it was...
Then why is it so difficult for some of you out there to see yourself being or doing what you were put upon this earth for?

I chose you before I formed you in the womb ; I set you apart before you were born.
As I have stated before , we are all here for a specific reason.
Each of us possess a certain talent that contributes positively to mankind in some way...
As I have grown older I have realized the effects that children can have on your goals and dreams.
Before anyone makes a call to CPS on me , Let me clarify...
When you become a parent , obviously, your goals and plans change ...You MUST live your life for your children , take care of , teach , nurture , love , be a PARENT to your miracle.
BUT what happens to so many when this happens is in the process of raising children , the parent loses their own identity...
"I can't do that anymore!" , "I wish I could do that!" , "I used to do that!"
Sound familiar?
We as adults cannot lose who we are...We simply must rearrange the schedule.
My son has played youth basketball the last several years and I always get strange looks from the parents...
YES I still listen to loud music , YES I still wear T-shirts with Rock bands on them , YES I am a "Rapper" , YES I play basketball with my friends , YES YES YES...
I STILL do what I love to do and I still work towards the goals that I have.
and I am STILL a loving Father and Husband through it all.
Just because we have kids doesnt mean we have to stop doing what we love or stop believeing in the dreams we have or had.
I have met sooo many people in my life that say ," I used to"...
I vowed never to be like that...
Parents end up letting the kids make them feel guilty for being who they are or want to be.
FORGET THAT!
They came from US...How can I let a dude in skinny jeans dictate what I like?
How can you let your teenager make you feel uncool?
So what happens?
The cycle continues...We end up living for our kids instead of being who we were born to be and INVOLVING our children in our journey and being with them step by step as they discover their own.
How many people out there are rollin around depressed and angry and bitter and refilling their anti-depressants just to cope with life?
While your child dictates YOUR LIFE and determines what is cool for you to say or do....
I got my kids asking me why I am listening to certain bands...I must remind them..."Who turned YOU onto this? , That's right...I DID"
What I am saying is , we all need to go home and smack our kids and grab them by the shirts and scream in their faces .."IT'S MY LIFE !!!!"
NO! , I take that back...That would be a bad idea...
What you CAN do without scarring your children mentally and you ending up in jail is this....
Take a deep breath and exhale...Remember what YOU like and pray for guidance or for open doors to acheive what you have always wanted to achieve.
and DO NOT let your children or anyone around you tell you your too old or it's past time.
Once I started reading the Old Testament , I saw most legendary people of God didnt start their mission till they were OLD...Like 70 or 80..So how can you tell me I am too old for something in my 30's?
If you pay attention , Kids run this world...Listen to the radio , Look at TV.
Notice in the commercials that the parents are always made out to be uncool idiots...
Look at your mindless sitcoms...
Notice a lack of grown up lyrics in music...Notice the food commercials...
The majority of marketing and entertainment is geared toward our kids and makes us look like we are clueless and out of touch...But who pays for all of this? THE PARENTS.
It's time we take back what is ours and quit letting teenage vampires run the world.
God has put a calling into each of us...and if you do not know what your calling is , All I can say is , Start praying and genuinely seeking what your purpose is.
What are you great at? What interest you? what have you always had a knack for?
And please dont write in and say Porn...
If thats your knack , then what is SECOND?...Do that :)
It can be done and once again I offer proof...
My wife is now going to school online for buisness at Phoenix...Yes , It's credited.
But how she got there is what is remarkable to me.
She had been having dreams about buisness and always had an interest in it since high school , but like so many others...
Tied up with a current job and kids and felt there was no way to do it.
She wasnt even sure of what she wanted to do...So she kept praying and praying and that is when God started showing her through dreams , that buisness was to be the calling.
But she still wasnt sure ...
So this church had a 'Prophecy' meeting.
She went and was prayed over...
They even recorded the session..Got the cassette upstairs...
The people praying over her told her that GOD had given her a mind for buisness and he would open doorways to move her into her calling...
Couple weeks go by , she applies and gets in.
She tells me..."Well , I start school on Monday....Paid for"
WOW !
That quick? that quick....
We were going through a tough time financially recently and the school called her and told her that the grants had been overpaid and they were cutting her a check...
So not only did God show her through dreams , He confirmed through a prophet and then got her into college , paid for it and gave her some cash back.
That is Powerful...
Ofcourse I do all I can to help her , but some of her classmates are single mothers with multiple kids and they are still making it happen...Once I saw how the process worked , I saw it's mostly like what all of us do on these message boards all day... You gotta chatroom and you offer opinions and you turn your work in on the website and get graded there. Same style set up as these sites....But your learning what you have a calling for and what could elevate your status in real life.
Is it easy on her? not at all...
She is stressed out-lol
BUT...
"He that has done a good work in you, is faithful to complete it in Christ Jesus" Philippians 1:6
Point is...She sought what her calling was and is now on the path.
It is not easy, but with dedication , she will become who she was created to be and I am very proud of her and amazed at the power of prayer...
Good news is , this is available to you as well...If you know what your here for , then I encourage you to make the effort to achive your dreams...Take it up in prayer and if it's your true calling , a door will be opened for you.
If you have no idea why your here on this earth, once again , take it up in prayer and you will eventually find out what your calling is and you can go from there.
NEVER let your present situation control your future blessings...
This is where the enemy uses lack of Patience against you...
STAY ON COURSE!
I felt compelled to get this message out there to people my age...To show you what is taking place in my family , can just as easily take place in yours...SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND.

Onto you younger cats...
When your a teen , you think you know it all...Nobody can school you on anything....
when your in your 20's , you realize how much of a dumb ass you were in your teens and when you get in your 30's , That is when it all starts making some sort of sense.( IMO)
I feel like I am entering the prime of my life right now...Mentally and physically and spritually...Financially is next :)
What I am saying to the youth is , if you do not take knowledge seriously now , you will get in your 30's and be confused and lost...Time flies...You hit 18...then 21...then 25 and then BAM 30 is upon you.
That quick!
What I am trying to teach , especially to the youth is...START NOW...appreciate your mind and body NOW.
If you can raise your mental above other peoples opinions and quit trying to live for a false image that wont mean a damn thing next year , you will be unstoppable.
If you realize the Gangsta , the pimp and the drug dealer are false idols and that your life has so much more meaning , you will be a great leader instead of statistical bleeder or in the pen.
Or to quit walking around depressed and in your emo phase...I wanna smack kids like you sometimes..
WAKE UP!!!! Enjoy your life! Quit being a slave to the spirit of depression.
We have been given power to be KINGS and QUEENS on earth and then evolve even more when we pass from this life.
IT'S THERE FOR THE TAKING! , GO GET IT!
Open your eyes and break the cycle...
This all leads back to a personal relationship with God and like I will always tell you...Just speak to him and learn to listen and your whole life will change.

It's time to not only imagine yourself being more than who you are , but to make it a reality.
